Get ready for our first Family & Friends Day at the Park! We are excited to gather our picnic baskets, grab those blankets, and have a day at the park with family and friends. This event is in partnership with Raising Royalty - a mother driven community designed to provide experiences for children (3+) to foster a positive self-concept, healthy friendships, leadership, scholarship, diverse cultural experiences, and service for others. This is BYOP (Bring your own picnic) style so make sure you have the following: Picnic basket, cooler, or anything else to hold your snacks, and lunch for the day. Your loved ones - friends, family, pets etc. Games will be available, but feel free to bring any others. We will have chalk, jump rope, balls, giant checkers and jenga, as well as some games for the adults to enjoy. Blanket(s)to sit on - this is old school picnic style. We will be in the grass, not at the picnic tables. Fun attitude to be able to connect with other families and professionalsWe will meet on the grass in front of shelter 13, towards the back of the park, by the red train. *donations are accepted to assist with future events
