Press release from the Urbandale Community School District: May 31, 2022 The Karen Acres Fifth Grade Talent Show had it all! Students danced while lip-syncing to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," played Pixar's "Up" theme song on the piano, and showcased the "Cup" song (with cups, clapping, and a whole lot of rhythm!). It was a fun afternoon for all students and staff as fifth grade students shared their talents during an all-school assembly on May 31. Students performed a dance routine, shared their artwork, performed a musical piece with multiple trombone players, gave a speech, and performed the latest scooter tricks all while students cheered them on with rounds of applause.
