Press release from the City of Marion: June 1, 2022 The City of Marion will host Pop-Up Acts in the Uptown Artway this summer on a series of Friday evenings. Enjoy free live music from the Uptown Artway or the patio of a nearby business from 6-8 p.m. The Uptown Artway is located between 10th and 11th Streets and 7th and 8th Avenues in Uptown Marion. The event series will feature a variety of local acts: June 3 | Ace Jones June 10 | Barb Francisco June 17 | Flash in a Pan July 1 | Joel Sires & Jacob Lampman July 8 | Matt Gogel July 15 | Adam Beck July 22 | Young the Lion Aug. 5 | Benny Bassett Keep an eye out for additional dates as they "pop up" later this summer and fall.
