Press release from the City of Roseville: June 3, 2022 Do you have a firearm in your home that you no longer want or know what to do with? On June 22, 2022, from 3-7 pm, the Roseville Police Department will be hosting a Gun Giveback event. This event is 100% optional and is for residents who may have inherited a firearm or bought a gun and no longer have a desire for it. No compensation will be given in return, and the police department will store the guns until they are sent out for destruction. Details: Guns must be UNLOADED IN THE TRUNK of the vehicle without ammunition. Residents should stay inside their vehicle unless instructed otherwise by officers. No registration is required. However, space may be limited depending on availability.
