This in-person course provides an in-depth understanding of the steps in the home buying process. Our industry professionals and panel of experts will cover topics including Fair Housing, Pros/Cons of Homeownership, Money Management, Understanding Credit and budget , Home Financing, Foreclosure Prevention, Predatory Lending, Shopping for a Home and much more! This is a HUD-compliant Homebuyer class. A certificate of education can be issued once your intake form is returned (must attend the entire 4-hour course) A certificate of counseling can only be issued after one-on-one counseling is completed. The certificate is required to apply for some grants such as Philly First Home, NeighborhoodLIFT, First Front Door, and others.
