Warehouse/Office Assistant This is a temp to hire position to work in a warehouse/office environment for a major leader in the industry, with thousands of employees world-wide…. voted best places to work for. 1. The position involves preparing small to medium size boxes for shipping to several destinations, plus the paperwork that goes along with them. Training is provided. 2. There is lifting involved, up to 50 lbs. +/-, but most of the time it is much less. Average of 3-4 pallets are created daily, depending on the number of boxes going out, but this is NOT a high volume, fast pace position. Most of the job is performed in an office environment, and the pace is mostly moderate. 3. Mostly Pallet Jacks are used. Forklifts are used too, but not until certified, which will eventually be available, at no cost to employee. 4. English required; Spanish is a plus. 5. Basic computer skills such as working with Excel, Word, and an Inventory Control App are recommended, and training will be provided on specific workflow. 6. No experience is really needed, however past warehouse experience is welcomed. 7. Starting pay is $14.00 hourly. 8. This is a temp to hire position with an indeterminate timeframe.
