CARLSBAD, CA — Carlsbad police arrested the occupants of a stolen car containing one pound of methamphetamine, CPD said Tuesday. At around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, police were alerted that a Toyota Corolla allegedly stolen in Escondido was seen traveling around Melrose Drive and Palomar Airport Road. Officers followed the car until it stopped at Paseo Corona. Officers say they inspected the car and found one pound of methamphetamine inside. Officers arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of auto theft, falsely identifying herself, possessing a stolen vehicle, and felony child endangerment.
