Blues Guitarist, singer, Songwriter looking to form a blues band. Ideal lineup would be bass, drums, and keys and or harmonica. Would like to form a duo with a harp player as well. Been playing blues for 12 years. Had a couple of blues trios together and we did local gigs. My repertoire is varied. Traditional, modern, fingerpicking (acoustic) open tuning slide and a few originals. Serious blues musicians only. Have all my equipment and transportation and rehearsal space. So many people don’t like hearing themselves speaking or singing. Why is that? If this statement resonates with you I have remedies to offer. I started playing theremin at the start of the pandemic (not new to music, I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years), and while I’m still not great I think I’m at a point I could play with others. I mainly play melodically, and like to play old jazz and pop standards on it. Would be interested in playing with other musicians and seeing what kind of sound we can come up with, I’ve got no preconceived notion about what would work, or even what a good line up would be. Rehearsing and Traveling no problem for the right situation. I am self taught with loads of influences (Stooges, NY Dolls, Ramones, Pistols, Dead Boys, Television, Nick Cave, Stones, Zep, Neil Young, Sabbath, Motorhead, Bowie, Americana (Lucinda, Steve Earle, Wilco, DBTs, Isbell, The Band, Jason and the Scorchers...), GBV, Replacements, Superchunk, Bash and Pop, Big Star, Hold Steady, Supergrass, Teenage Fanclub, Supersuckers, The Hives, Social Distortion, Rocket From the Crypt, Wyldlife...), Not particular about genre / labels but prefer music with some attitude and rough edges.
