GlenMary Home is located in the heart of the Highlands. We provide room and board to retired and/or mentally disabled veterans as well as challenged adults. Everyone is ambulatory and able to met their own personal needs. All of our rooms are on the second floor or in the basement level. We are walking distance to Bardstown Road, and just 1 block from the bus lines. This is a full time, salaried, live in position with flexible hours. We prefer a Live In Assistant with a drivers license so you can shop for the home but it's not required. It's a very quiet comfortable neighborhood smack dab in the middle of everything. The applicant that joins our team will have a furnished private room, access to the whole facility, possibly a van if you're the one responsible for transporting the veterans to their appointments. You will be responsible for dinner and clean up 5 days a week, but the schedule is pretty flexible with housekeeping duties. It is full time 5 days.
