Pro Bass/Vocals seeks genuine PRO Band. Not $100 Bar Gigs!

Description

Yes. I would rather play NO gigs, than BAD gigs. $100 gigs were fine 30 years ago, when my rent was only $400/mo! Today, $100 barely covers gas, food and a couple of drinks. Thus, I am not interested in playing local dives, biker bars, sports bars, anyplace that still allows smoking inside, or playing past midnight. Nothing good happens after midnight. The later the gig, the less classy the clientele. Lets compare...play tired classic rock at some biker dive or sports bar till 1:00am, make $100. Or play rock/pop/dance at a corporate event from 7-10 for $300 or more. Im only seeking bands that do this for a living, not a hobby. And Im only seeking bands that play corporate gigs, festivals, weddings, private events, etc...or possibly a legit Tribute band covering a major name, stadium filling band that is worthy of a tribute. Yes, I am more than good enough to play the higher end gigs. I'm just not connected in the 'Buddy Network.' (The Buddy Network, where bands just bring in their buddy, or someone they know to play bass, even though he doesnt sing, and has a limited catalog of songs, maybe a drinking problem! How about holding an open search, or audition to find whomever brings the most to the table?)
