Vida Y Alma is proud to host the city of Lakewoods very first LGBTQ+ Pride event on June 18th, 2022 from 12PM-6PM. Our mission is to advocate the inclusion and support of the LGBTQ+ community in Lakewood. Different non-profit organizations, such as the Long Beach LGBT center and Human Rights Coalition, will be promoting the awareness of issues facing the community, as well as the resources available to them. It will be a family-friendly and community oriented event, and we welcome guests of all ages to come and join us celebrate a day of Pride! There will be vendors, guest speakers, food, drinks, a raffle give-away, as well as a Drag show! The winner of the raffle will receive some goodies from the participating vendors, as well as a pair of weekend tickets to 'This Aint No Picnic' concert! We hope to see you then!
