On June 25th in Bellingham Washington we will be holding our 13th annual alpaca/llama day of workshops and education. The event is hosted by H.E.A.R.T. a Washington state non-profit. This event is free to anybody that currently owns or is interested in owning them. A group of caring owners and speakers will be providing this service in the hope that it will help to avoid future rescue situations involving these animals. Classes on care, basic information and more are offered. Future owners are encouraged, but will not be sold animals during the event. Some of Our Classes Include: *Veterinary Information Talk with DVM Paul Schwab of Puget Sound Vet Clinic *Farm Planning & Pasture Management with Whatcom Conservation District *Toenail/Foot Work *Shearing Demonstrations *Pack Llama Information *Fiber Demonstrations, Projects and Information *Ongoing Spinning and Fiber Usage Demonstrations *Tips for New and Old Owners

The purpose of this day is to educate people and help them learn how to properly care for their animals.
