Our business is expanding so we are looking for responsible, careful and experienced roof repair technicians to help care for our clients as we continue to grow while maintaining our trusted reputation. The Repair technician role is a key part of the fulfillment of the promises we make to our customers. The company’s brand and customers’ experience rely on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role. The Repair technician is responsible for managing jobsites and installation quality control, completing repairs, punch-out and warranty repairs. The Repair technician is responsible for completing each job on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. Listed below are the general expectations we have and the nature of what this role will look like when working with us. Deliverable 1 – Complete Quality Repairs per industry best practices (code and manufacturer specs). 1. Receive work orders from Production Coordinator and set up schedule for efficient priority management and work completion. 2. Review pre-documented repair information and ask clarifying questions of Production Coordinator and Sales Reps to ensure quality communication and to deliver on customer expectations. 3. Notify customer when in route to provide expected arrival time. 4. Knock the door before beginning work and engage in warm up conversation 5. Set up site branding with yard sign. 6. Show customer completion photos and explanation of work completed 7. Inform customer of next steps for billing and look for opportunity for review request for exceptionally happy customers. 8. Defer all conversation of additional discovered repairs or costs to Production Coordinator to discuss with the customer later. 9. Take photo documentation of progress, pre-damaged items, supplement items for change orders, and final product. Before, during, & after photos 10. Ensuring proper protective measures are taken for debris removal. 11. Perform final site cleanup and document and make material returns. 12. Provide any documentation to Production Coordinator or Sales Rep for the project. 13. Inspecting critical installation areas and ensure quality standards are met. 14. Adhere to prewritten work orders, following Company definition of quality, and obtaining change orders for additional work not specified. Quality: - Does it meet manufacturer specifications for warranty coverage? - Does the workmanship eliminate future call-backs for labor warranty? - Does the workmanship meet reasonable aesthetic expectations “from the ground”? Deliverable 2 – Maintain an average 4.8/5 quality score (Google) through taking overall responsibility for customer experience and ensuring they are exceptionally satisfied. Who are we looking for?
