Hi plz help my friend stole my car

I feel pretty dumb yeah but I wanted to help my friend get back up here from our hometown and since I was coming up here too I thought it'd be fine. But now he's run off with the car and ghosted and blocked me. Police won't help me, since I handed him the keys it's "not legally stolen" but it's still legally mine and I'd rather not get any more screwed than I am by his actions. His sister stole the license plate so it may not have one but he might have put a stolen one on it. It's a 2001 dark blue Subaru Forester with giant sun fading spots on the hood and roof of the car. The last picture shows how the back passenger window tinting might still be ripped. The pictures showing it are from when I bought it. Almost all of the letters have fallen off or they have, at most it would still have the S. If you see a car that matches this description I would really appreciate some help in recovering my car as I'm still making payments on repairs for it and I need it for work. Any help is very much appreciated. If you are able to help me find it I'm offering at least $100 appreciation compensation. Thank you! :)
