Description
I’m looking for someone to do some work cleaning up/prepping my small backyard.
The space is more or less rectangular,15.5' x 23.5'. I’ve been working on clearing out the space, and I’ve recently had a new fence installed.
At this point I’m looking for someone to do the detail work involved in finishing the clean-up of the space in prep for whatever I choose to do next.
The space consists of older, for the most part intact pavers, and rectangular patches of dirt.
Small bits of debris need to be picked up and removed.
Weeds/old plantings need to be removed, including digging-out of a small but stubborn bush in the corner abutting the fence.
All surfaces need to be scrubbed, power-washed, or otherwise cleaned.
The dirt needs to be cleaned-up including removal of all sticks, rocks and other material (possibly involving the removal of the top-most layer of dirt). Remaining organic material needs to be turned, the soil raked and leveled including possibly the addition of new topsoil. Finally, there is a small amount of junk that needs to be removed - 8-10 rectangular brick pavers and a plastic storage trunk.
Additionally, I need to clean and seal the new wood fence, which can be included as part of the job, or as a separate gig.
If interested, please tell me about your experience with this kind of work, and provide an hourly rate, or a flat rate for the job.
