Description

Responsibilities include maintaining all outside grounds including mowing, weeding, planting, trash detail, parking lot repairs, snow removal, salting of walkways, painting, snow blowing, assist in moving company equipment and other heavy objects. Must know how to and be capable to operate riding and push mowers, weed eaters, snow blowers, tractors, and all other grounds related equipment in a safe manner. Making sure that all outside walkways, parking lots, and common areas are always safe for guests and to manager standards. Interior task may include but are not limited to painting, moving furniture, repairs, and other carpentry projects as required. Qualifications: • Must speak and understand English fluently • Ability to comprehend and execute written and oral instructions • Consistent on-time attendance • A valid PA Driver’s License; clean driving record must be maintained during employment • One year of experience required; 2 years of landscape or handyman exp. preferred • Experience with landscaping equipment and construction tools • Successful completion of background checks • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening Physical Requirements: • Driving between property locations • Relocating equipment between properties as required • Frequent carrying and/or lifting of up to 50 pounds • Full use of all extremities • Frequent bending/squatting and kneeling • Occasional lifting of items over 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds • Constant walking and standing Work Environment: This opportunity involves a great deal of work outdoors all year round in all types of weather conditions. Some evening and weekend hours may be scheduled to support events. All grounds employees will be on a rotating on-call schedule to provide needed services. Groundskeepers are classified as essential personnel – reporting to work during weather emergencies is required.
