• Title: Warehouse Operator • Department: Supply Chain and Operations • Posted:6-3-22 • Full-time • Location: Nounon’s Creamery - 610 Rutgers Rd, West Babylon, NY 11704 Purpose of Role As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for all general warehouse operations, related to supporting all Finished Goods and materials movements (picking, receiving, satisfying general orders related to customers and production). As a successful team member, you will be responsible for helping ensure the highest quality work, drive safety practices, meet customer requirements on shipments and maximize productivity within our distribution and warehouse center. TOP ACCCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Assist the Operations and Department Manager with building and maintaining a high-performance team. • Assist the Department Manager in completing daily work assignments. • Provide ongoing feedback to associates to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work orders. • Understand importance of leveraging Inventory Management System to perform general transactions in fishbowl to enable proper material flow and movements (Finished Goods and materials). Fishbowl system knowledge preferred (or similar), must be able to understand general functionality of system use and transactional movements (material receipts, cycle counts, fulfillment, etc). • Assist and complete scanning, data entry, batch collecting, and production work as needed • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following training and guiding associates on Nouno’s safety standards and procedures. • Responsible to help maintain consistent inventory management practices in line with meeting targets, identifying solutions to mitigate risk and improve overall tracking. • Ability to communicate clearly. • Building relationships with your counterparts is critical, especially in the areas with the most trouble spots. • Be credible, reliable, transparent and solution oriented. Qualifications and Experience Required: • High School Degree or GED is preferred • Basic math skills are required. • Ability to stand and walk throughout a shift, ranging from 8-12+ hours depending on daily production requirements. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist. • Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed. • Previous Warehouse and/or Distribution center experience is preferred • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and productive environment • Good time-management skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to speak and write fluently Spanish is preferred. • Must be able to drive fork-lift truck (licensed/training supplied) Full Time - Monday to Friday
