RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Study and interpret blueprints, shop drawings for information pertaining to type of material required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
-Selects specified type of lumber or other materials and knowledge of material goods.
-Prepares layout and ability to read cut-sheets to produce projects.
-Erects framework for structures and lays framing out to construct and build.
-Use multiple types of equipment to fabricate structures – includes table saws.
-Regulate material usage to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency of projects.
-Builds and lays-out and installs partitions, cabinets, laminate tops, acrylics, displays, fixtures, kiosk, and exhibits and all interior finishes.
REQUIREMENTS:
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training.
-Versed in all carpenter hand tools, air and electrical power tools and tables saws.
-Versed in all shop woodworking machinery.
-Well versed in plastic laminate applications and finishes.
-Ability to read and understand shop drawings and print details.
-Knowledge of plastic acrylic applications and finishes.
-Knowledge of exhibit and display jigging and crating of products.
-Knowledge of all shop safety requirements for woodworking industry.
