Material picker/delivery driver

Material picker/driver needed to deliver material from our shop in Lima to job sites. Hours 7:30-4:00 pm M-F with overtime possible. Shop Responsibilities: • Pick material requested on material list from shop shelves • Put away excess material returned from job sites • Unload & accept material from suppliers • Check in material from suppliers for accuracy • General cleaning and upkeep of shop area • Maintain landscaping and lawn • Basic equipment maintenance: scissor lifts, tools, lawn mower Truck Driver Job Responsibilities: • Drive and operate pick-up and stakebed trucks. • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. • Load and unload cargo. • Basic vehicle and trailer maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy • Drive from Lima to Columbus weekly, multiple stops in Columbus Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications: • Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred • Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day • Able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests • Clean driving record • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years • Good listening and verbal communication skills • Dependabile Education, Experience, and Age Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience with excel spreadsheets and email preferred • Class A CDL - preferred, not required - We can help you obtain CDL, if you are interested. • 21 years or older Vehicles used on the job: Stakebed truck with and without trailer, Bucket truck & Pickup truck About Sprint Electric: Merit Shop (Non-Union) Commercial electrical contractor in Lima since 1989 40+ Employees Direct Deposit Weekly Insurance (Health, Dental, & Vision) after 30 working days.
