Rehoming catahoula/blue heeler mix

I am looking to rehome my 1 1/2 year old catahoula/blue heeler mix named opie. I have already went the training route and I am only looking for someone to adopt. I will only adopt him out to the right person. He really is a loyal, incredibly smart and sweet dog in the right environment. He needs a home with a lot room to run and a job or someone with NO kids who is also active and willing to work with him on his needs. He is very wary of strangers and new people and needs a slow introduction, I can explain further for those interested. When meeting other dogs he did best doing so in a place where he feels comfortable but so far has gotten along great with other dogs. I’ve never had him around cats tho. He is due for his rabies, bordetella and DHLPP, he is on trifexis. he is not yet neutered but am working on obtaining an appointment. He needs someone that will respect his space and give him time to get comfortable. I am in Bastrop and require a 75 rehoming fee.
