CONFERENCE AGENDAOn Friday evening September 16th at 5pm, we will begin the event with registration, entertainment and a reception for attendees including heavy hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar of beer and wine at the Kenosha Civil War Museum. https://museums.kenosha.org/civilwar/ The conference proper begins on Saturday morning with registration and opening ceremonies. There will be a variety of presentations and panel discussions about topics of sustainability with many opportunities for participant interaction and discussion. The conference conference will conclude with an awards ceremony and raffle drawing. Dinner will be served at the Boat House Pub and Eatery. https://www.boathousekenosha.com On Sunday, those interested are encouraged to carpool to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison where we will have a guided tour by Kevin Hampton, Curator of History. This museum was established by the local post of Grand Army of the Republic, so it has some ancient history. Chris Kolakowski is the museum director. https://wisvetsmuseum.com There will also be an opportunity to visit Camp Randall for a photo op. EVENT COVID-19 POLICYALL current CDC, State of Wisconsin and local COVID-19 GUIDELINES, POLICIES, and PROCEDURES must be followed during event. Attendees can view the CDC COVID web page for up-to-date guidelines prior to arrival for event. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/communication/guidance.html For State of Wisconsin travel guidelines. https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/travel.htm Procedures for Positive COVID cases: Attendees are required to notify the CWRT Congress Conference Manager immediately if any attendee becomes aware that a participant has tested positive for COVID-19 while participating in the event. The Congress does not provide quarantine or isolation areas for attendee use, so the attendee must arrange for any participant who has tested positive and any close contacts of that participant to depart from the conference immediately. Absent an unusual risk to health or safety, the Congress will not require the attendee to identify the name of the participant(s) who has/have tested positive or their close contacts, but the attendee must identify to the hotel the room where the participant was lodged.
