CAPE Inc, Community Association for Preschool Education – Livermore, CA CAPE, Inc. has a wonderful opportunity for a Meal Delivery position, Part Time (FT), 12months • Position is Hourly, Non-Exempt, Part Time (20 hours/week) • Pay Rate: Up to $17/hour • Eligible for group benefits plans including medical, dental, vision, life and retirement; paid Holidays, vacation and sick days • Reports to Interim Executive Director Agency Overview: CAPE, Inc. headquarters is in Livermore, and provides early childhood education services (Head Start and Early Head Start preschool programs) in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Hayward areas. Position Overview: The Delivery Person will pick up and deliver meals, and mails, as needed to CAPE and partner sites in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, Hayward and Administration Offices. Qualifications and Requirements • Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance • DMV Clearance report • Fingerprint clearance • Dependable, with ability to work and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision. • Detail-oriented and customer service oriented • Must be flexible and team-oriented Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, talk and hear. • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and/or up to 50 lbs. occasionally. • Specific vision ability required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. • The work environment characteristics involve a moderate amount of noise.
