SUMMER BOAT LOADERS - Kayaks and Canoes River’s Edge Kayak and Canoe Healdsburg and Monte Rio Theater locations River’s Edge Kayak and Canoe is hiring boat loaders to work our 2022 season. We’re looking for people who are physically strong, like being outside and who enjoy talking to our customers. We also do music nights and sunset paddles on weekends, so some event experience is a plus. DATES: June 1 – Sept. 5th (Through Labor Day weekend) HOURS: Full time from 8am-4pm Thursdays-Mondays is preferred, but flexibility can be considered. Must be available on holidays weekends. Potential employees must have a valid California driver’s license, an outgoing personality, a positive attitude, good people skills, and conduct themselves professionally. Work positively with other team members. Maintain all Covid distancing protocols and provide excellent customer service. Ability to work under varying weather conditions is also necessary. Prefer someone that has paddling experience and is familiar with the Russian River area. This work involves heavy physical demands. Please be able to lift 50+ pounds. DUTIES: Driving truck and trailer to launch site, loading, and unloading canoes and kayaks, launching and receiving guests, cleaning and sanitizing boats and gear, performing light groundskeeping, and some custodial duties.
