Ave. and Lowell Street, needs your help. A public-input session April 14 provided historical context, existing conditions, timelines and concepts for the site in addition to gathering public input. In a related matter, following a request for proposals for the Mass. Ave./Appleton Safety & Accessibility Corridor Project and the Chestnut Street Safety Project, the town has hired Stantec Consulting Services Inc. to provide design, engineering and public-engagement services. This work will build on short-term safety improvements put into effect over the course of 2021. Expect future announcements on public-input sessions regarding both projects in the near future.
