HARRISON, NY — Italian culture is alive and music is in the air in West Harrison this weekend at the St. Anthony of Padua Church Italian Festival. The festivities kick off Friday night and continue through Sunday. The celebration of all things Italian will include food, games and activities for all ages and live music. The three-day event will feature Italian dramatic tenor Gianpaolo DiGrazia in his first appearance in Westchester. The "Bel Canto" singer has delighted audiences throughout the East Coast and Italy. His set list for the festival will feature a few of his signature favorites, including "Amor, Amor, Amor", "Il Mondo" and "Quando Quando". There will also be traditional singalongs of "Volare" and "Eh Compare." DiGrazia will take the stage Saturday at 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by DeCicco and Sons Italian Markets, Anna Maria's Wine Bar of Rye and Steel Horse Motor Cars, with direction through David FranZe, Director of Entertainment. (Hollywood Enterprises USA) The St. Anthony Of Padua Italian Festival starts Friday, June 3, at 5 p.m. and the fun doesn't stop until midnight. On Saturday, June 4, the festivities pick up again, from 5 p.m. until midnight and again on Sunday, June 5, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The festival Italiano will take place at St. Anthony's Church at 85 Harrison St. in Harrison.
