(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – The Sedgwick County Election Office is providing an updated list of deadlines to file to run for office. The deadlines are extended for offices that are impacted by map changes.
Deadline of noon on Wednesday, June 1 County Commission 1st, 4th & 5th Districts, Township Clerk, Elected Judicial positions Elections Office, 510 N. Main, #101, Wichita, KS 67203 Statewide office without districts Secretary of State Office, Memorial Hall, 120 S.W. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66612 Deadline of noon on Friday, June 10 Precinct committeeperson Elections Office, 510 N. Main, #101, Wichita, KS 67203 S. House of Representatives, Kansas House of Representatives, Kansas State Board of Education Secretary of State Office, Memorial Hall, 120 S.W. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66612 Deadline to change party affiliation prior to Primary Election In addition, Sedgwick County voters with changes to their district assignments as the result of redistricting will be notified by mail.

The primary and special election is on Aug. 2. The general election will be Nov. 8.
