Bethel Police Torch Run Friday: Expect Traffic Delays

BETHEL, CT — The police are warning residents to expect traffic delays on Friday as the annual Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Connecticut races through town. Bethel officers will take the hand-off from Danbury police at around 10:50 a.m. at the town line on South Street at Lawrence Avenue. The runners will move south on Route 53, take a left onto Route 302, and end at the Dodgingtown Market in Newtown. Donations may be pledged online here.
