The Theme of our 2022 Annual Igbo World Festival of the Arts, Language and Culture is Reconnecting to Our Igbo Culture and Roots (focusing on how Igbos separated by space and time are finally reconnecting with their American siblings across the continent). Ndiigbo in the Americas and African Americans who have identified their lineage through DNA are jointly hosting the festival. CISA is an American incorporated 501(c3) non-profit organization and an apex Igbo organization in the Diaspora. Our agenda includes but are not limited to the promotion of Igbo Arts, Language and Culture as a way of developing our Human Capital and by so doing, build stronger communities in the Diaspora. Attendees will be treated to cultural programs encompassing music, language, dance, literature, comedy, Reconnection and Naming ceremony of DNA tested African Americans and Caribbean who claim Igbo heritage.
