Pitt bulls overpopulation - y breed?

Quit backyard breeding pit bulls. The shelters (some kill ) and rescues are way way full. You are offering a puppy and the adult dogs get overlooked, and they are waiting. You are adding to the problem. If you love the breed, do it a favor and quit helping fill up the shelters, some kill shelters. If you don't believe, go on county pound and shelter sites, look at the large dogs, just sitting there scared, confused and at risk. Some of the pitties even looked happy, playful when their photo is taken - because they don't know the risk they are in or the MANY days/weeks they'll be in a cage. Others look serious and know they are not in a home, a safe place and were DISCARDED by their humans. And shelters are struggling to feed and care for so many. People somewhere let them down. Please try and not breed, don't let an accidental littler happen cause you didn't spay/neuter. If you need to make money with dog breeding, pick a breed that is scarcer and more valuable. It's sad that studies estimate that up to 1 million pits are euthanized per year, or 2,800 per day…[and] some estimates are up to double that number.” Please quit breeding pitties. WHY did I post - because dogs have no voice.
