Lemont Library Plans Summer Learning Kick-Off

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Public Library will kick off its summer learning with a party on Saturday. The kick-off party will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. in the library parking lot, 50 E. Wend St. The event will feature treats from The Creamery, games, crafts and an Adopt Don't Shop event with Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue. The library's summer learning encourages reading a book, listening to a podcast, watching a documentary, attending library programs, doing a science experiment, or any other kind of learning. The event is sponsored by Lemont Bank & Trust, A Wintrust Community Bank. The library will also hold a summer learning wrap-up party on Aug. 6.
