The Virginian is seeking a Full Time Life Enrichment: Health Care Center Program Manager and IL/AL Program Manager along with LE Assistants to join our New & Improved Virginian Life Enrichment Team. Reporting to the Administrator, you will be responsible for collaborative assistance in the development of the Resident Programming, to ensure that all calendars are created with meaningful activities in place seven days a week. This position will reflect a positive philosophy and approach in which the 8 Dimensions of Wellness are highlighted and incorporated into the daily lives of our Residents. Life Enrichment programs include but are not limited to: Art and music therapy, reminiscence, sensory stimulation, spiritual expression, volunteer opportunities for residents, hospitality, exercise, nutrition, and integrated community activities. Activities experience with programming and documentation in a skilled nursing venue a must. The Virginian, a 300+ resident Rental Community located in Fairfax, Virginia, is adding to its 40-year history of service by undergoing a $56M renovation, including 56 luxury assisted living and 38 state-of-the-art memory care apartments, to go with our 155 independent living apartments and 81 Five-Star Rated Health Care Center & Rehab beds. All in addition to a full-service health & fitness spa, wine cellar, two movie theaters, five dining venues, art studio, and outdoor putting green, pickleball, bocce ball, and “Central Bark” dog park, on 32 acres of beautifully wooded and landscaped grounds.
