Participants will study the following:
• The development of Eureka Math TEKS Edition and the cornerstone features of its design
• The coherence of mathematics and how Eureka Math TEKS Edition expresses that coherence
• Typical module and lesson components in K-5
• The use of classroom observation as a tool for coaching and continual feedback
Wednesday, June 22, 2022
Participants will understand:
• How to successfully implement a Eureka Math TEKS Edition lesson
• How to discern the decisions inherent in each lesson
• How to study the teaching sequences of the curriculum while customizing lessons
• The three-step process for customizing lessons to meet students' needs
Space is limited. Only one (1) administrator from each Dallas ISD campus (participating in the 2022-2023 Eureka Math implementation) will be allowed to attend. Please send a replacement (if the assigned administrator cannot attend the training).
Parking is available adjacent to the building. Please park in the spaces marked "permit".
Upon arrival, please use the back elevators (10-19) to the 19th floor. Then take the blue and yellow elevator to the 20th floor. Follow the balloons to the training room.
Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.
