DUBLIN, CA — The June 7 primary is just around the corner. To give our readers quick access to what you need to know before casting your votes, we've compiled races in your area and information on how to vote. Here's a look at local races the Dublin Patch is following in the Tri-Valley area. Alameda County: Schools: Board of Education 7th Trustee Area Cheryl Cook-Kallio: retired teacher Kate Dao: educator, parent, businesswoman Eric Dillie: public school teacher State:16th State Assembly District Rebecca Bauer-Kahan: Democrat, incumbent, motherJoseph Rubay: Republican, small business owner Patch sent a candidate questionnaire to all candidates in the above races so you can learn a little bit about them and why they're running for office. We will publish all forms as they come in. Here is a list of local places to vote:11-day voting center: Dublin Unified School District, 7471 Larkdale Avenue *Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 28 through June 6 then 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. 4-day voting centers: Santa Rita Public Works, 4825 Gleason Drive Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza The Wave, 4201 Central Parkway *Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 4 through June 6 then 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
