Private family estate offers a wonderful, full-time, year round career opportunity for an experienced Gardener. Responsibilities involve starting seeds, planting and caring for annuals and vegetables, weeding, light pruning, watering, and daily cleaning up. Turf and big projects are handled by contractors. Must be able to work closely with contractors on aspects of landscape management as well as exterior house work. The Gardener will also hire and supervise seasonal garden help. This is an immediate opening for a flexible individual who is customer service oriented and comfortable doing occasional errands for the principals. Requirements include: • Professional gardening experience • Strong plant knowledge • Ability to work outside in all types of weather • Willingness to work 5 days/week, year round • Discretion and positive attitude • Clean background check • Signed confidentiality agreement Only local Detroit area candidates will be considered.
