Last winter's census indicates that the city's homeless population living outside and in shelters decreased by almost 40 percent. The decline has been attributed to a program that started shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak that used federal funds to house hundreds of residents. (WABE 90.1 FM)Amazon has doubled the size of its Atlanta-based Global Disaster Relief Hub. The increase is needed as Hurricane Season begins.
