We believe that one day soon, we’ll wake up to an all-electric world. About the role: The Engineering Technician will be responsible for supporting R&D and production projects. This junior level role will support these projects by developing technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, schematics, wiring diagrams and updating accordingly. The Engineering Technician will work closely with various team members in developing engineering solutions and will assist in keeping project timelines on schedule. What you’ll be doing: • Provide hands-on support with respect to PLC, computer-based control systems, electrical interfaces, and manufacturing equipment. • Installing and maintaining electrical systems; updating electrical diagrams. • Designing and implementing program solutions from concept to beginning stage to completion including, training and documentation. • Experience with PLCs to communicate with external devices (sensors, actuators) and systems (programming software, SCADA, HMI). • Store raw data to external workbook sources to create, edit, and manage collected data. What we’re looking for: • AA in Electrical, Process Controls or similar technical fields. • 2+ years hands-on engineering experience.
