Mayfly Ultralight Equipment, a small Santa Fe-based company, seeks a motivated person to help assemble unique outdoor gear. Experience & Qualities: Organizational aptitude. Attention to detail. Ability to learn and focus. Desire to work. Experience sewing or knitting helpful but not necessary. Duties entail assembly of ultralight sandals, primarily involving cutting and tying knots in small cords, and alignment of small components... And potentially more, including product finishing, packaging, and shipping... Expectations: Learn, understand, and master component and product assembly procedures (paid instruction provided.) Complete work accurately at a reasonable + consistent pace. Physical Demands are minimal: hand & finger dexterity, near vision acuity, sitting (or standing if preferred). Assembly involves manual hand tools only -- no machine noise/fumes/dust, and no computer screens, so no calls/emails/spreadsheets. Occasional ability to lift 10 pounds. Compensation: $20/hour Hours: Part time - 20 hours per week, with potential for more. Schedule & Location are super-flexible: work from home, whenever you want, with whatever music you want playing in the background, as long as the work gets done. Contact: [email protected]
