Steven Kaczmerciak was the perpetrator behind the NIU shootings in 2008. I recently read an Esquire article about him. He was hospitalized several times for suicide attempts and committed to a group home. Yet he still passed the required federal background checks to own the firearms he used to shoot up NIU.
Similar story with the Virginia Tech shooter.
So tell me why MORE laws are necessary when background checks are already passed? They don’t give a rip about the laws we already have, so we need more?
