PLEASE STOP TAGGING THIS POST! With shelters being full you can only imagine what happens to dogs who do not get adopted. Caroline needs a home!!
We are trying to help 5 year old Caroline find her forever home. We are temporarily fostering her after she was given up by a farm who had too many dogs. She was used for her puppies and then not fed. She was very emaciated when we got her. With the help of a local rescue group she has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and brought up to a healthy weight. She LOVES everyone she meets but due to the fact that she gets excited and jumps on people, she should probably go to a home with no small children, She loves to play with other dog friendly dogs. She does have a prey drive, so no cats. She walks great on a leash and loves a good meal and then when she is settling in for the not, loves having her kong filled with treats or peanut butter. She is potty trained but won't let you know when she needs to go out AND she has crate anxiety. She can go about 3 - 4 hours without needing a potty break, otherwise she will have an accident. We are hoping to find Caroline a home who has someone home most of the time, can come home at lunch time to let her out, and has an area such as a clean basement area to keep her in when they are away. She cannot go to a home who will tie her out. She is very strong and would get loose. Her adoption fee is $200 and comes with a large bag of food and her Kong. Her adoption fee is somewhat negotiable for the right home. We will deliver her. We will also have some questions for those interested to ensure that she goes to a safe home. No texts please.
