We are seeking a full time Maintenance Technician for a 100 unit apartment community in Northlake, IL. We desire a reliable team player with knowledge & experience in all phases of maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, & HVAC. Responsibilities: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion, estimate time and extent of repairs, perform routing preventative maintenance, maintain material and supply inventory, oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary, make vacant units ready for move in, general maintenance and upkeep of all buildings and grounds, sharing of on-call responsibilities. Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields, ability to speak spanish, familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, ability to handle physical workload, deadline and detail-oriented, knowledge of Hot Water Boiler Systems, ideal candidate would be willing to live in the property.
