You say our legislature is full of the elderly, that should be leading and aren’t. How many “leaders” can you have in a body of 100 people or 435 people or for that matter any body of multiple persons? Guess who “the leader” is in the United States’ Senate? Yup, it is the “Senate Majority Leader”. That is one person and at this time that person is Chuck Schumer. Guess who “the leader” is in the United States’ House of Representatives? Yup, it is the “Speaker of The House”. That is one person and at this time that person is Nancy Pelosi. So now what was that you were harping about again? Maybe you should look in Mr. Webster’s book to see what the definition of a “leader” is? You remind me of people that are newbies on a job. They all complain about how unfair the seniority system is until they have some.
