JOB DESCRIPTION The function of our Dog Bather position is to provide a positive safe experience for all dogs in our care. Applicants should be prepared to spend most of a shift on their feet, working among dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. A positive and caring attitude and the ability to multi-task are a must. Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team. Must be willing to accept directions when needed. Be coach-able and open to feedback. SOME SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES ARE Ensure a safe environment while bathing dogs Work independently Brush, bathe & dry dogs Nail trims ((maybe intimidating, we will train you to master this situation)) Clean grooming dept during your shift PHYSICAL DEMANDS Be able to lift up to 40 pounds (Teamwork is always there when needed) Be able to stand on your feet 4-6 hours a day BASIC REQUIREMENTS Able to correct dogs for safety and healthy bathing experience Cleaning of the groom room Urgency (able to predict and see it through on your own) Open communication with your Team Punctuality, Reliability, and Responsible to take care of our client's pets.
