Rose’s Equipment & Supply has an immediate opening for a Commercial Equipment Service Technician. We are looking for a reliable self-starter to join our team. Rose’s goal is to provide service that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and upholds our high standards. We have been selling new and used restaurant equipment for over 40 years in a family-owned team environment. A qualified candidate will be able to work well with others and manage their individual responsibilities with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Installs and testing equipment to make sure they work correctly. Teaches customers how to use their rental equipment. Responds to service requests and repairs products. Uses diagnostic tools to determine repair plans. Escalates issues to managers promptly. Knows how to use the necessary tools and equipment. Writes service reports after every appointment. Collaborates with managers and other service technicians. Follows all company policies and procedures. Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards. The ideal Service Technician is both meticulous and punctual. They strive to provide a great customer experience by arriving on-site quickly, accurately diagnosing problems, and by providing fast, effective repairs. Necessary Skills: Learns new maintenance procedures quickly. Must be mechanically inclined. Has excellent customer service skills. Collaborates with managers and service technicians has strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrates time management, problem-solving, and organization skills. Good work ethic and good attendance record. Must be a team player. Self-Motivated, and work with a sense of urgency. Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work history repairing, or servicing commercial restaurant equipment or residential appliances is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
