Hello everyone! Looking for a kind, compassionate and experienced babysitter this summer? If so, you’ve come to the right place. My name is Takara (age 19) and I’m looking for babysitting “gigs” from June through the end of August. My qualifications include first aid certification, CPR certification, and experience babysitting children ages newborn-12. A little more about me is that I’m a new resident of Washington, I currently work swing shifts as a caregiver for cognitively disabled adults and I’m attending college as a education major with a minor in social work. What I’m looking for is day shifts and occasional evenings if necessary but cannot guarantee due to working swing shifts. My preferred rate is $17 an hour but is negotiable for families who cannot afford childcare facilities due to the childcare worker shortage. I also have reliable/safe transportation and am willing to transport children short distances if guardians provide proper car seats for their child. Areas I will travel to is Vancouver and the surrounding 15 miles which includes part of Portland, OR.
