Description

You are to protect the working crew and fellow flaggers and provide safe directions for traveling through a work zone. You are responsible for setting up and removing cones, signs, barrels and anything that is needed per job. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Must accurately know the measurements required for all jobs; Be able to use a walking measuring wheel; Accurately measure distance between required signs; Take care of equipment and keep in working order. • Complete the daily safety inspection sheets. • Must have certification card and ID at all times. • Must be alert and visible at all times. • Must be able to communicate effectively using a radio. • Keep vehicle organized and clean; complete weekly inspection. • Flagging at the construction sites. • Report any damage to flagging equipment. • Performs all job functions with safety in mind. • Wear safety apparel: ear plugs, vests, hard hats, glasses, steel toed boots or any other safety equipment required per job on the job site. • Works effectively with other employees, managers and supervisors.
