Staff Dispatch is looking for two candidates titled Machine Maintenance Tech and Machine Maintenance Supervisor for a local Metal Recycling Plant. Candidates for Machine Maintenance Supervisors (will need at least 3 years of hands-on experience performing maintenance on material handlers, forklift, excavators and loaders - required and leadership experience -preferred.) Salaried, 75-mid 80's per year. M-F 6:00 - 4:30, some Saturdays Candidates for Machine Maintenance Tech (will need at least 1 year of hands-on experience performing maintenance on material handlers, forklift, excavators and loaders) Experience with heavy equipment highly desired, but will consider other hands on maintenance experience. $19-$20/hr M-F 6:00-4:30, some Saturdays What you'll do: Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor, Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs, Effectively communicates with co-workers and customers in positive manner, Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed, Maintain work area and equipment, and Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs. What you'll Need: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather, ability to work as a team player in fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to find root cause for equipment failures. Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification. Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling. Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment. Proficient in reading and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals.
