Hi! We are a small general contractor based in Knoxville, TN specializing in historic residential renovations and commercial new construction. We are looking to add qualified and skilled Carpenters to our team! Your job will entail working in diverse settings to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using carpentry tools and materials with an eye for detail, and the ability to work with little supervision while following all health and safety guidelines. Responsibilities - Build/fabricate structures to specifications on blueprints or site plans - Frame out windows, doors, interior/exterior walls by using raw materials or pre-constructed items - Fabricate structural concrete forms - Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed - Install cabinets, vanities, shelves or other finish items where designated Requirements - Proven experience as a carpenter - Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction - Proficient in using power tools, manual equipment, and measurement tools - Ability to read blueprints and site plans. - Good knowledge of English, basic math, and how to use a smartphone - Good physical condition and endurance - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits for Full-time Employees - 7 Paid holidays a year - Health Reimbursement Program after 90 days of employment - Milage reimbursement - $500 tool allowance after 1 year of employment - 40 hours PTO after 1 year of employment - 40 hours of Parental Leave after 1 year of employment
