500 East Colorado Ave. near Main, Telluride CO

Description

We have one open position to work Telluride Bluegrass festival!! We are food vendors, who will be serving food in the food court at Telluride Bluegrass festival and we are looking to fill one more position. If you have ever wanted to go to the bluegrass festival, this is a great opportunity to work the event and also have the opportunity to check out some great music. You will receive a festival pass, paid cash at the end of the weekend, and receive cash tips daily, all meals during the weekend provided. The ideal candidate will have some festival experience or kitchen experience but we will train the right person. This is a multi day event and we will be arriving two days prior to get the booth set up and prep for the weekend. Applicant must be available from Tuesday, June 14 (we will be leaving Carbondale around 6am) and will return on Monday, June 20th. Tuesday we set up the booth, Wednesday is a prep day, Thursday the 16th through Sunday the 19th is the festival each day. Monday we break down the booth and load the trailer. The festival itself is long days, doors open around 10am and event ends daily around midnight. Applicant must be able to work long hours on their feet, there will be opportunities for breaks but usually we wait till the lunch/dinner rush ends, and then get a chance to catch our breath. Expect to work anywhere from 10-12 hours per day depending on how busy we are. Very fast paced work environment, the quicker we get the portions out, the more successful the event. Also, parking is very limited at this event, they set up a barricade outside of town and will not allow you to enter without a parking pass. Both of my parking passes are spoken for, so the ideal situation would be for the new crew member to just ride with me, perhaps leave your car at my house for the weekend and catch a ride with me. Lastly, this is an event where we camp at the festival. We are allowed to camp on the grounds so please be prepared with your tent and camp gear. If this sounds like something that would interest you, please reach out. We have a fun crew that works hard, but also get the opportunity to step away from the booth (during slow times like mid day and late night after the dinner rush) to enjoy the music and the event. Fair pay and tips are usually really good. Please respond by either email or text, I rarely have the chance to answer my phone so text is better.
