Garbage to Garden is seeking energetic, hardworking individuals to join our Resource Recovery Crew at Levitate Music Festival this July! Levitate Music Festival is a three-day music festival in Marshfield, MA July 9-11; it is a true celebration of summer featuring world class music and artists. Artists playing this year include Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh & Friends, Vulfpeck, Stick Figure, Stephen Marley, Dirty Heads, Old Crow Medicine Show, and many many more! Garbage to Garden is psyched to be working with the folks at Levitate for the 5th year in a row to make the event as clean and green as possible, diverting as much as we can towards composting and recycling. Responsibilities include: - Setting up event waste management system - Monitoring waste stations within assigned area - Sorting waste to maximize diversion to recycling and composting - Sweeping event grounds of all litter - Educating attendees about what can be composted and recycled Shifts available: Fri 7/9 10:00am-10:30pm Sat 7/10 6:00am-2:30pm Sat 7/10 11:00am-11:00pm Sun 7/11 6:00am-2:30pm Sun 7/11 11:00am-11:00pm Mon 7/12 9:00am-9:00pm Preference for those who can work all 4 days! All applicants must have their own transportation to and from the event each day, have a positive, can-do attitude, and must be: - 18+ - Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time - Comfortable working outdoors in all weather - Able to consistently lift 50-75 lbs and work on foot for 12 hours each day - Committed to recycling and composting - Not afraid of getting a little dirty - Ready to work hard & have fun in a team environment - Ready to engage with the community & excited to learn Compensation: $25.00/hour plus meals local lodging or camping may be available TO APPLY: Email Hannah at events at garbagetogarden.org or reply here with an email introducing yourself.
