OT/TRA by Zimmerman Workshop is an award winning wood furniture design and manufacturing company based in Brooklyn, run side by side with great success as a sister company to our successful architecture and design studio. We are looking for someone skilled and able, who can jump right in. We need someone who can take architectural design intent drawings and turn them into a finished product. That includes manufacturing and finishing all while managing their own process and schedule. We are a design-first organization that often leads to creative solutions to unusual problems. No hobbyists please. • Despite experience level, applicants are expected to have quick learning skills and a desire for perfection. • You MUST be able to build and finish pieces with interest, determination, sensitivity, and care. • The ability to work well with others, often as a team, is essential. • Must be able to apply your wide array of experiences to solve new problems. • We expect you to be responsible. Responsible means being on time everyday amongst other things. We will count on you to be here and perform your duties each day without excuses. • We expect you to be cooperative, and collaborative, a team player.
